Kate Hunter is a performance-maker and researcher based in Melbourne, Australia.

Her trans-disciplinary work investigates relationships between memory, the body and the brain. She uses recorded and live voice, digital image and performance to investigate remembering, forgetting and imagining. 

She is the recipient of an Australian Postgraduate Award and Vice Chancellor’s Postgraduate Research Award, enabling her to undertake a PhD in Performance Studies at Victoria University, where she is exploring the relationship between memory, neuroscience and performance-making.
