AUTHORS: Julie Allan![]() Julie Allan was a colleague of Gerard Fairtlough (and was a co-author, with him, of The Power of the Tale). She is a chartered psychologist (British Psychological Society) and registered occupational psychologist (Health Care Professions Council) as well as a coaching psychologist and supervisor. She was the ethics and social policy officer of the British Psychological Society’s Special Group in Coaching Psychology and sat on the BPS Ethics Committee until 2012; she continues to work on an advisory project concerning the ethics curriculum for psychology. Julie co-founded the Irving Allan consultancy, focused on changing the way change happens in organisations. She has many years’ experience in working with organisations and individuals to achieve change across sectors including automotive, finance, pharmaceuticals, media, governmental departments and charities, as well as a successful prior career in publishing. Julie is author of a number of scholarly chapters on gestalt coaching and ethics, as well as guest editing two journal editions on wisdom in organisations for our Partner AMED. julie@thepowerofthetale.co.uk |
