Gaby Agis is a choreographer, teacher and dancer living in London, UK. SRT is intrinsic to her work. As a pioneer of modern dance in England she has been making work for the past 35 years – nationally and internationally – collaborating with artists from architecture to opera to sculpture to film. Gaby was one of the first dance artists in the UK to make site-specific works for hospitals, railway stations, museums, art galleries and theatres. She has collaborated with renowned artists including Gavin Bryars, Atom Egoyan, Cornelia Parker, Isaac Julien, David Sylvian and Phyllida Barlow. Since 1993 Gaby has taught SRT throughout Europe and the USA in many institutions and contexts, teaching students of dance, architecture, theatre and the visual arts. As well as teaching SRT at Introductory and Ongoing Levels, since 2010 she has been a teacher trainer.
