AUTHORS: Carolyn Roy

Image of Thomas Kampe
Carolyn Roy is a regular improvisation teacher for Independent Dance -  a London-based, artist-led organisation providing a responsive framework to support, sustain and stimulate dance artists in their ongoing development as professionals.

A recent MACP (Masters in Creative Practice) graduate, Carolyn has several years experience as a performer and performance maker including work with Gaby Agis, Robert Pacitti, Graeme Miller and most recently Tino Sehgal.

Formative influences of working with Min Tanaka exploring the relationship between the body and the environment and Skinner Releasing Technique continue to underpin her dance practice.
