Morein
Andrea Morein was born in Vienna, Austria and lives in Cologne, Germany.
Her early studies included German dance, movement and theatre studies in Germany and Israel. In 1973 she graduated from the Director's Course at the Drama Centre, London. Since 1985 she has undertaken numerous Performance Art and Movement Projects. Between 1989 and 2000 she studied with Prapto in Indonesia and Europe. Since 1988 she has given Somatic and Creative Movement Trainings in institutions, universities and her own ‘Re-source Institute’. From 1998, her work shifted to the visual arts – mainly dealing with perception, spatial relations, architecture and poetics. Andrea’s performances, media works, drawings and photographs have been widely shown in museums and galleries in Germany, Italy, France, Netherlands, Portugal, Israel and Indonesia. www.andreamorein.com |
