How can I eradicate
your absence?  No, no, no,
not have you present,
eradicate your absence.
One is not the other.
The other is not one.
(How can I hold the meaning up
so delicately strung between
each word, as each word
needs to be
balanced in itself.
Each word, taking up space,
making  no space out of space.)
How can I tell you,
going from word to word,
that I need you most
when I am gone, not here.
