Carolyn is a visual artist processing pigment and paint, punctuating practice with power walking to enhance rhythmical mark making.

Carolyn studied Graphics at Art College specialising in Typograhpy and worked in studios in West Sussex.. After several years working as a designer she decided to break out from the discipline and develop her own drawing and painting. She became fascinated with traditional Chinese Art, travelling extensively in China as a tour guide and tutor and attending classes in painting at the Beijing Academy of Fine Art.

In 2004 she graduated from Kingston University with an MA (Distinction) in Drawing as Process.
Since that time she has participated in exhibitions around the UK from Cumbria to Brighton.
